114. Original Near Cartersville 27 July '65 My dear Sir I have just reed your letter of the 24 th Inst: enclosing one from Mr McCue in reference to his son. I very much regret his imprisonment &that I see no way in which I can advise him. I know no more of the circumstances of the case than what are contained in Mr McCues letter, but as far as I understand them do not consider that I can do anything in his behalf I enclose my reply to Mr McCue stating the organization ofMosebys regt-­ I am extremely obliged to you for your invitation, & offers of kindness.
