This letter poses interesting questions. It presumably is a response to General Jackson on the subject of a missed photographic appointment. Why would Jackson be concerned about photography as he is in the midst of his Valley Campaign. Is this a disguised or coded message with a different meaning? or could the "General Jackson" referred here be one of the other Confederate "General Jacksons"?
