The Society seeks to educate about Rockbridge County, Virginia and to preserve and make available collections of documents and artifacts pertinent to the county's history.
These two Anderson family photograph albums, dated 1899-1900, show the family at home in Rockbridge County, Virginia as well as on a trip where they traveled through Ohio and California.
Volumes contain papers given by members of the Rockbridge Historical Society at Society meetings.

This collection contains issues of the Ring-tum Phi, W&L's student newspaper, which is a part of University Archives' Record Group 39 (University Organizations and Societies).
The Calyx has been the University’s undergraduate yearbook since 1895. It is a pictorial summary of student life and events during the year.
The Columns was published by the students of Washington and Lee University during the suspension of the Ring-tum Phi during World War II.
Publication began in 1924.
