Migration caused by conflict is a huge yet often under-recognised problem in the world today. Sudan is an area which has some of the highest numbers of displaced persons in the world today, caused by a bloody, long-standing conflict. What follows is an examination of the Sudanese conflict that has caused this massive migration, an overview of forced migration in general, and an assessment of the circumstances of displaced Sudanese. Finally, there is are suggested solutions to improve the lot of displaced persons. [From Introduction]
