In this letter to Frank Fuller of the Associated Press, Booth complains of being extremely rushed and being unhappy with the accompanying memo and attachments. Booth also offers that, "In writing your story, if any student names are to be mentioned, only one is important: Beverly Fitzpatrick, senior law student from Roanoke, is convention chairman." Booth also says that Clarence Brown, keynote speaker, will be arriving late - just before convention time.
