This is a portrait of William Abramowitz Hyman in his graduation gown. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in 1913. The name "W.H. Abramowitz" is scratched into the plate glass negative. This print was made from the original glass plate negative, which is housed at Virginia Historical Society.
