These pictures are portraits of Gard Anderson as a student. In Pose 1, from 1908, he is wearing a dark suit with a necktie. In Pose 2, from 1909, he is dressed for Commencement. These prints were made from the original glass plate negatives, which are housed at Virginia Historical Society.
