On Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Northen Auditorium, Thorns Craven '62 recounted in humorous detail his forty years with the Jargon Society. The Jargon Society was established to promote lesser known writers and photographers, several of whom went on to fame (if not fortune) and several of whom remained lesser known. Thorns tells all! Samples of Jargon Society publications were on display in the Boatwright Room following Thorns' talk. This presentation was part of the Friends of the Library Speakers Series.
