These photographs were taken by Myrna Barrera-Torres during Fall Term of 2013 in Chile. The program ran through International Studies Abroad (ISA) at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez (UAI). These photographs were part of the Study Abroad Photo Exhibit on October 14, 2014. Myrna Barrera-Torres is a member of the class of 2015 of Washington and Lee University. Student statement about their experience: "Chile was a beautiful place to study, but what made the experience was the people. The people are genuinely good people, and they have a an authentic love for life. You are guaranteed to have a great time with a Chilean. The country is very diverse, their population is very diverse but most of all geographically. You can reach the end of the world in the south of Chile and go to one of the driest places of the world in the north. I would highly recommend Chile to anyone interested in studying abroad. For those learning Spanish it may be hard to pick up at first but you will find yourself learning so much more by living with a family."
