These photographs were part of the Study Abroad Photo Exhibit on October 14, 2014. Myrna Barrera-Torres is a member of the class of 2015 of Washington and Lee University. Student statement about their experience: "Experiencing Italy was on my bucket list since I was a small girl. I could of[sic.] never been prepared to see all the beauty I witnessed. Every city in Italy has its own history and magnificent architecture. It can be difficult to pick up Italian because so many people speak English but when you do come across those people who don't speak English it will help. The cuisine in Italy definitely lives up to its expectations, the pizza, the bread, the pasta, the gelato, it is all worth experiencing."
