    Description

These photographs were part of the Study Abroad Photo Exhibit on October 14, 2014.

George Brett Park is a member of the class of 2017 of Washington and Lee University.

Student statement about their experience: "I spent a month in Barcelona with a host family, studying Spanish culture and politics. After that, I spent a month in Amsterdam in University of Amsterdam dorms, studying Dutch Social Policy. The program included weekend trips to Paris and Berlin. Overall, it was an incredible experience. The program enabled students to explore cities freely so that each student could create his/her own unique experience outside of the classroom. I would highly recommend doing this program. It is extremely eye-opening to see how different parts of Europe have drastically different cultural characteristics from each other that also starkly contrast traits of American culture."
