These photographs were taken by Caroline Darden Bearden during the W&L Spring Term in 2014. The class was SPAN 214 Contemporary Spain in Context: Spanish Culture through Social Interaction, in Cádiz. These photographs were part of the Study Abroad Photo Exhibit on October 14, 2014. Caroline Darden Bearden is a member of the class of 2016 of Washington and Lee University. Student statement about their experience: "This experience was spectacular, from the food, the night life, the class excursions, my host family, and going to the beach everyday. I can not say a single negative thing about my experience. It was probably one of the best decisions I will have made in college. I would recommend to any student remotely considering an abroad experience, to just go! Even if it seems scary or far once you are there you fall in love with the country, make new friends both from W&L as well as internationally, and better your skills immensely if you are studying a different language. The programs through W&L Spring Term are amazing."
