Student statement about their experience: "My abroad experience was incredible. This summer I studied Global Banking & Trading in Copenhagen, Denmark and Emerging Markets in Riga, Latvia. My emphasis in Denmark was on European equity and currency markets paired with an overview of the “Next 11” countries. I gained knowledge on how to trade foreign currencies, equity derivatives, options and perform technical analysis. In Riga, I developed an entry strategy for Vestas Wind Systems and assessed the opportunities in Latvia for companies from the United States. I also had the opportunity to travel to Norway and to various cities in Denmark. I met so many great people and saw so many great things. Traveling really does broaden the mind and I would definitely recommend studying abroad to others. I loved it so much I will be returning to Denmark this October to compete in the Nordic Trading Competition! "
