This is a spiral steno pad -- the spiral binding is on the top. Handwritten on the front are: Mrs. N. Wood, 1947. It was used to record various financial transactions -- income from rental property, groceries, as well as expenses incurred in educating her children. Several years of transactions are recorded, the last being 1952.
