The envelope specifies the dates as September 1, 1919 to January 1, 1920 but the contract specifies September 1, 1919 to Ausgust 31, 1920. It is signed by E. W. Nichols (?), Superintendent, V.M.I. and H. L. Walker. This envelope has a handwritten direction: "Contract for meat at V.M.I., Sept. 1, 1919 -- Jan. 1, 1920, Harry L. Walker -- V.M.I."
