This is a typed letter, on Stonewall Jackson House letterhead, from Richard R. Fletcher to Mrs. C. M. Wood. The date is October 27, 1977. Mrs. Wood had called to discuss a stained glass window memorial to Stonewall Jackson. She had viewed the window, located in the "Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, colored" in Roanoke and had observed its poor condition. Mr. Fletcher mentions the possibility of the Lee-Jackson Memorial helping with expenses to repair the window. He has also enclosed a copy of a newspaper article about the window.en_US
