Cost and Construction of Macadam Roads
Description
This student paper is a "Thesis for B. S. Degree." It is accompanied by three blueprints. The first shows a cross section of a proposed macadam road. The drawing measures 22.25 inches wide and 14.75 inches tall. The second shows a drawing of a concrete culvert. The drawing measures 26.25 inches wide and 20.75 inches tall. The third shows the profile of the proposed macadam road. The drawing measures 13.5 inches wide and 11.75 inches tall. This thesis with intention of making the construction and cost more comprehensable to the public at large will be divided into three parts: first, principal knowledge and facts required to undertake the work: second, correct method of construction: third, plans, computations and drawings, also total cost of building twenty one hundred feet of macadam road.
